Noodle Bar Mascot: Reviews & Ratings

The quality across the board is consistently mouth watering. The stables are Northern Chinese Cuisine, hand made noodles, dumplings, boiled steamed fried, and then theres the rice noodle variations and a million side dishes. They’ve expanded to skewers recently. And even the fried rice is top notch. Thats some serious quality control in the kitchen.

Just landed from a 20+ hour flight, and this really hit the spot. The noodle texture was really good and was the perfect amount of spicy! It was a bit too much for my mom, but my dad and I thought it was good. The service was good. The servers were nice and the food came really fast. We arrived late afternoon, so it wasn’t busy at all. Plentiful of space and tables were clean. The only issue is that parking is a bit of a struggle. The nearest parking that I could find was in the hotel parking lot, and parking is a bit tight. Not sure if it is because we came at a busy time or something? All in all, I think it’s a nice gem to visit when you’re on the way to the airport or just landed in Sydney and is looking for a quick bite to eat.

Having now visited Mascot Noodle Bar twice, I can confidently say it has secured a spot as a go to for a reliably excellent meal. On both occasions, I left thoroughly impressed and satisfied, which is a testament to their consistent quality and execution. The star of the show is, of course, the noodles. They are absolutely delicious perfectly cooked with a wonderful texture that holds up in the flavorful, steaming hot broth. That "hot" factor is crucial; the dishes arrive at a temperature that not only enhances the aroma but ensures every bite is as comforting and satisfying as the first. Beyond the noodles, I must highly recommend the pan-fried dumplings. They achieve that ideal crispy, golden-bottomed exterior while remaining juicy and savory within. They are a must try appetizer or a perfect complement to your main bowl. What truly sets Mascot Noodle Bar apart, however, is the thoughtful inclusion of a condiment bar. This is such a brilliant and customer-centric idea. It allows you to customize your bowl to your exact preference, whether you crave more heat, a touch of acidity, or an extra layer of umami. It shows the establishment respects the diner's individual palate and adds an interactive, fun element to the meal. It’s a small feature that makes a big difference. Finally, the experience is rounded out by the genuinely nice staff and great service. The team is attentive and friendly, contributing to the overall welcoming atmosphere. In summary, Mascot Noodle Bar delivers precisely what you want: great food served with care in a pleasant environment. I will undoubtedly be back for a third, fourth, and many more visits. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my experience at Noodle Bar. My favourite thing was when I asked the cashier for recommendations he didn't hesitate which for me is always a sign of good food to come. And it was. I tried the cold sesame noodles, a crispy pork bun and for dessert the brown sugar bun which was perfectly steamed and delicious. I travelled 40 mins by car and it was worth the time and the tolls. I will be back to try more from the menu. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and the place was busy. The food didn't have any oily or bad after taste. I liked the video playing of similar traditional cuisine being prepared and served abroad. The underground parking is free for long enough to enjoy dinner, dessert and a stroll. It exits directly opposite the restaurant.

I’ve been here many times and tried a variety of dishes. The portions are quite generous, and the food tastes great. I highly recommend this place if you’re really hungry. It’s usually packed with people, which shows how authentic and popular this restaurant is.

Had the braised beef noodle soup. Plenty of beef pieces with right amount of fat. Noodles texture also quite good. Fried dumplings was fried crispy and nice, however the fillings was barely any flavour to comment on. Overall not bad at all.

The skewers are really delicious!! The meat is juicy and not dry. I ordered the beef noodles, they tasted good but there were so many that I had to wrap them up. When I got home, I thought I could eat them twice more.

The handmade noodles were SO GOOD. I had the chilli oil version which was so delicious and it had zingy peppercorn sauce through it. My family enjoyed all of their meals too. Service was good although a bit odd that the food wasn’t ready all in one and we kept having to come up to the counter when the buzzer rang each time. Place is clean and tidy although some tables are very close to each other.
